NBA 1 on 1 vs non-NBA 1 on 1

When I was watching the videos of 1 on 1, I noticed one difference between NBA players and non-NBA players’ 1 on 1.  Most of the non-NBA players’ 1 on 1 is either how to crossover the opponent or street ball which is show off the handle skill.  Bath are not really about scoring, it is about how flashy and skillful they are.  Please watch the video below.

This is how streetballers play 1 on 1.  This is really fun to watch.  They may look too cocky or rude, but this is how the streetball is.  When famous streetballers play the game, there always be a lot of people around them to watch.  But it is interesting that not many people surround players when famous college player or high school player play 1 on 1.  The reason why there aren’t  many people around them is because how they play 1 on 1 is similar to NBA players.

NBA players do not play like how those streetballers play.  One difference is because of the rule they stick to.  Streetball has a bit difference from regular basketball rules such as double dribbles and traveling.  NBA is more strict about those rules except for some Shaqtin fools.  And they are more focusing on winning than showing off the skill.  Please watch the video below.

Look at how these NBA players play 1 on 1.  Except for Oladipo, nobody was trying to crossover or attack the rim.  They focused more on making space between them and defender.  Kevin Durant and Paul George who are the best in the video used fade away jumper and step back jumper most of the time.  This is because they are confident with their shooting skill, and it is more efficient than drive in and lay up or dunk because it is hard to ankle break those defenders.

This is my opinion but streetball 1 on 1 is more fun to watch than NBA players 1 on 1, but NBA players’ 1 on 1 is more intense and satisfying.  When you play 1 on 1 you can fine the best fits for you so you can win and enjoy at the same time!!
