Finishing Move
Do you have a finishing move? Yes finishing move is really important to have it unless you are as strong as One Punch Man who can blow away with any punch. I mean… if you can shoot like Steph Curry who can just throw the ball and it automatically goes in, you don’t need the finishing move. Since there is no pass or screen, you have to have many choices for your play. Here are the top 3 finishing moves NBA player used to use for 1 on 1.
No.3: 3 point shoot. It seems like this is not really a good finishing move, but there are reasons why it is a good finishing move. Reason 1, in most of the 1 on 1, 3 point is worth double of field goal. Reason 2, since it is not high percentage shoot, not many players are aware of it. Reason 3, after hitting couple of 3 points, shoot fake will become extremely effective. So it will be like this.
No.2: Double Clutch. Double clutch is the one of the best ways for small players to survive. This is not only looking great but it can help you from getting blocked. Those who are good at this is mostly guard players such as Allen Iverson, Kyrie Irving, Steph Curry, and Michael Jordan. If you can make this shot, you can give huge impact on your opponent.
No.1: Dream Shake. I first thought of Skyfhook for no.1, but skyhook is not something people can do. But this is something people can do but still unstoppable move. In order to stop this you need 3 defenders for 1 player. 1 for right side, and 1 for left, and then, another for in front. This is the only way to stop dream shake because you can choose when to shoot it unlike layup or jump shot. If you see your opponent jump, you can turn, and if not you can shoot it directly. If you master this, your opponent cannot stop unless move as fast as light.
