Playoff key player

Playoff is coming to the end soon.  But it is still eating up.  Golden state swept Portland, but it wasn’t easy game.  One reason why Golden state could swept is because of the “playoff key player.”  There are some players who becomes lway better than regular season during playoff such as Robert Horry.  I’d like to list 5 current players who has key roll during playoff.

Rajon Rondo.  His prime was in Boston, and he did not make it to playoff for 18-19, he is very first person who comes to my mind as “playoff key player.”  His stats goes up during playoff, and he even can average triple double.

Andre Iguodala.  One reason Golden state still goes strong under pressure is because of this guy.  He was never a role player, but because of the system for winning, he became 6th man.  And that made him win final MVP in 2015.

Jimmy Butler.  He is already an all star level player and key player during regular season.  However he is one of the best players in 76ers, he becomes more reliable under pressure.  He tends to play better when he has spot light.

CJ McCollum.  He is second scorer in Portland.  And he is future all star player.  One reason he is a “playoff key player” is because opponent teams mark on Damian Lillard.  They know that if they claln stop Lillard it will be so much easier to win the game.  Some games McCollum plays better than Lillard, and he is the true “playoff key player” in Portland.

Kawhi Leonard.  Yes he is one of the best player in the league, but still he becomes better during playoff.  His mental is as strong as his defense.  So he has no problem with playing under pressure.   His stats goes higher during playoff, especially his both FG% and 3p% increase.  Which mean he plays more effectively during playoff.
